Cashier/Customer Service Representative

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, product demos, and store navigation
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
• Upsell products and suggest additional items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Conduct retail store product knowledge sharing and merchandising to promote featured items effectively
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and inviting
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds following store policies while maintaining excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking supplies and participating in periodic stock counts

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and courteously
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Basic math skills for handling cash register operations, retail math calculations, and balancing cash drawers accurately
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail store product knowledge is advantageous
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are beneficial for supporting team efforts
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform merchandising tasks efficiently
