Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their experience.
• Process retail sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and consistency, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café or retail space by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage food handling responsibilities with proper hygiene practices to ensure safe food service.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product levels.
• Support team members during busy periods by serving customers quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving correct change.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
• Experience with beverage preparation, especially coffee or specialty drinks, is highly desirable.
• Willingness to perform cleaning duties and uphold hygiene standards consistently.
