We are seeking a friendly and organized Cashier/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently managing front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will have prior restaurant cashier experience and be comfortable handling POS systems, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression.
• Operate POS systems to process customer payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, or digital transactions.
• Maintain organized table management using restaurant table management systems to optimize seating capacity and reduce wait times.
• Communicate effectively with guests via phone for order or special requests.
• Support food service staff by coordinating seating and ensuring timely guest flow.
• Handle basic math calculations for billing purposes with accuracy.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including the host station.

Skills

• Prior experience as a restaurant cashier is required, with proficiency in POS systems.
• Strong communication skills for phone interactions and guest engagement.
• Experience in host/hostess roles within a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems.
• Basic math skills for processing payments and bills accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, seating, and guest flow efficiently.
• Food service experience is advantageous to understand restaurant operations better.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
