cashier/receptionist

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Cashier/Receptionist to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach will help maintain a welcoming environment while efficiently managing financial transactions and administrative tasks.

Duties

• Greet visitors warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries with enthusiasm
• Handle all cashier responsibilities, including processing payments accurately using point-of-sale systems and issuing receipts
• Assemble to-go bags, double check orders for accuracy, and add fortune cookies, utensils and sauces
• keep the front counter, waiting area, and drink station clean, stocked and organized

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse clients and visitors
• basic math skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• prior restaurant cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but training will be provided
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift light boxes or bags of supplies

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
