Position: Cashier/Retail Customer Service Associate

Hours: Part time & Full time – Morning & Night Shifts

Qualifications: Hard worker & great personality

Below listed are the general job duties and functions that you will perform on a daily basis:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handles cash transactions with customers using the cash register.
• Scan items properly and collect all types of payments.
• Circle customers savings on receipt & tell customers their savings.
• Greet every customer with a smile & a positive friendly attitude.
• Bag all customers groceries.
• Handles customer questions or requests for information about the products the store sells.
• Ensure a safe work environment for employees, customers, and yourself by keeping a clean area, cleaning up spills.
• Ensures that cash registers areas are in clean, orderly condition, meeting health department and company standards.
• Pleasantly resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Constant movement of the wrist.
• Strong communication & time management skills.
• Attention to detail & mathematical skills.
• Stands 100% of working shift & ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Project your voice loud & clear over the store intercom to call for assistance when needed.
• Provide excellent customer service!
• Works in a safe manner, understanding safety comes first in the workplace
• Maintain an organized & clean work area. Remove trash & collect red hand baskets.
• Cashiers answer phone calls in a professional manner, usually during a transaction.
• Has a willingness to learn & can multi task.
• Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment & perform other assigned duties.
• Ability to get along with all associates and management.
• Ability to learn specific tasks on computer devices

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
