Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products and suggest additional items through engaging product demos and personalized recommendations
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with merchandising to maintain an attractive store environment
• Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging informed purchasing decisions
• Handle cash drawer operations with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing at shift end
• Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to answer customer inquiries confidently and effectively

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for seamless retail transactions
• Previous supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for supporting team initiatives
• Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customer bases are highly valued
• Strong phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors
• Excellent communication skills combined with active listening to understand customer needs
• Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of retail store product lines, merchandising techniques, and inventory stocking procedures
• Experience in upselling, product demos, and promoting sales initiatives to maximize revenue
• Familiarity with retail sales transactions, cash drawer handling, and cashiering procedures
