Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience
• Upsell products and promote store specials to maximize sales opportunities
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly
• Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform basic math calculations for transactions
• Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with inventory management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude are essential
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math concepts
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers effectively
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for supporting team initiatives
• Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and responsibly
• Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies
• Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
