CASHIER/SERVER

About the role

MKS Workforce Management Services Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cashiers/Servers in Ermita, Manila City. This is a full-time position that forms the backbone of our retail and hospitality operations. As a Cashier/Server, you will be responsible for processing transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Your role is crucial in creating positive first impressions and ensuring smooth daily operations across our service points.

What you'll be doing

• Processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Handling cash, card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Providing friendly and attentive service to all customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
• Taking customer orders and serving food and beverages according to company standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the service area, checkout counter, and surrounding zones
• Restocking supplies and ensuring adequate inventory of needed items throughout your shift
• Answering customer inquiries and providing information about products, services, and promotions
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
• Following health, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times
• Resolving customer complaints diplomatically and escalating issues when necessary

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in retail, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a friendly, professional demeanour
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure during peak service hours
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures and standards
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
