Job Summary

Join our team as a part-time Cashier/Server and help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our customers. This role combines cashier responsibilities with food service, including taking orders, processing payments, serving food, assisting guests, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

We are looking for someone energetic, dependable, and friendly who can multitask, provide excellent customer service, and work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service
• Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items
• Operate the POS system to enter orders and process transactions
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payments accurately
• Provide correct change and maintain proper cash-handling procedures
• Recommend and upsell menu items, promotions, and available specials
• Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and accurately
• Deliver orders to tables and ensure customers receive the correct items
• Check on dining guests and assist with additional requests or needs
• Communicate customer orders and special requests clearly with kitchen staff
• Assist customers with questions, concerns, and order requests
• Clear, clean, and reset tables for incoming guests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, counter, and dining areas
• Restock front-counter supplies, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other items
• Assist with food preparation and packaging when needed
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service
• Follow food safety, sanitation standards, company procedures, and management instructions
• Job responsibilities may change according to the needs of the restaurant

Requirements

• Prior cashier, server, customer service, or restaurant experience is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to multitask and balance cashier and serving responsibilities
• Strong attention to detail when taking orders, serving food, and processing payments
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with a team
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to carry food trays, plates, and beverages safely
• Willingness to learn menu items, promotions, food safety practices, and company procedures
• Restaurant or fast-food experience is helpful but not required
