Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, assist with product inquiries, and process transactions accurately at the cashier station using POS systems.
• Operate various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and organize stock safely and efficiently.
• Stock bin tables, produce displays, and merchandise products according to store standards, ensuring items are accessible and visually appealing.
• Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to maintain accuracy.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading shipments, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, and maintaining organized storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and warehouse areas by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing shopper questions, assisting with product location, and supporting a positive shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and basic math skills for stock counting and sales transactions.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse tools safely.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for merchandising details and store presentation standards.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and customer engagement.
