Responsibilities

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and quickly
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, and processing returns or exchanges
• Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure products are well-presented and accessible
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels, customer needs, and store updates.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and cash drawer handling is beneficial
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising principles, and inventory management is advantageous

Pay: $17.00 per hour
