Duties

• Operate cash registers using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Manage food service customer orders, ensuring accuracy, timely preparation, and friendly service.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including handling kitchen equipment and maintaining food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, hygiene, and food safety protocols throughout your shift.
• Support food industry operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy dining or retail area.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, process retail sales, and balance register at the end of each shift.

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Food preparation experience combined with understanding of food safety management practices.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and maintaining sanitation standards in food service or café settings.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
