Casual Bookkeeper

2–3 Days Per Week

Charlestown Golf Club is looking for an experienced and reliable Casual Bookkeeper to join our team for approximately 2–3 days per week.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, has strong attention to detail, and can work independently within a friendly, busy team environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the Club, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, banking and reconciliations, payroll and employee records, daily takings and merchant transactions, general ledger processing and financial data entry.

You will also assist with payroll-related requirements including superannuation, leave calculations and payroll tax, ensuring records are accurate, up to date and processed within required timeframes.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

·         Has previous bookkeeping or accounts experience

·         Is confident working with the accounting and payroll system Xero

·         Knowledge of Micro keeper is preferred but not essential

·         Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

·         Is reliable, trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

·         Can work independently and manage competing priorities

·         Enjoys being part of a team and has a positive, professional approach

·         Has a solid understanding of reconciliations, payroll and general bookkeeping processes

Experience within a hospitality, club or similar environment would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
