What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations
• Managing food preparation stations and ensuring efficient workflow during service
• Monitoring food quality and presentation to meet customer expectations
• Assisting with inventory management and identifying stock requirements
• Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Responding flexibly to kitchen demands during busy periods
• Contributing to a positive and professional kitchen environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a hospitality or food service setting

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods

• Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and adaptability to casual work arrangements

• Relevant culinary qualifications or training is highly valued

• Experience in a hotel or pub kitchen environment would be advantageous
