Casual Customer Experience Representative | Kiwa Pools

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Casual Customer Experience Representative to join the Kiwa Pools team.

Mō te tūranga | About the position

This is a varied front-of-house role where no two shifts are quite the same. You will be one of the first people customers see when they arrive, helping them feel welcomed, informed and supported. From admissions and retail sales to bookings, enquiries and keeping the reception area running smoothly, you will play an important part in delivering a positive experience for our community.

Ngā Mahi ngā Takohanga Matua rānei | Duties include:

• Create a warm, welcoming and helpful first impression for every customer visiting Kiwa Pools
• Provide friendly and professional service in person, over the phone and through online enquiries
• Process pool admissions, retail sales, programme registrations and facility bookings accurately
• Assist customers with information about pool activities, services, timetables, memberships and bookings
• Handle cash, balance daily takings and support banking processes in line with procedures
• Keep the reception, shop and foyer areas clean, organised, well stocked and inviting
• Work alongside the wider Kiwa Pools team to identify ways to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels welcome

You will enjoy working with people and be confident providing warm, consistent customer service in a busy environment. You can stay calm under pressure, use your initiative and balance a range of tasks while maintaining a professional approach.

You'll need to be:

• A positive, friendly and approachable manner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in customer service, reception, retail or cash handling
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning new systems
• The ability to think on your feet, solve minor problems and know when to seek support
• A professional, reliable and team-focused approach
