About Us

Blossom & Bloom Supports is a growing disability support provider focused on delivering compassionate, reliable and person-centred support.

As we continue to welcome new participants across the Gold Coast, we are looking to build a reliable team of casual Disability Support Workers who genuinely enjoy helping people achieve greater independence and participate in their community.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker with Blossom & Bloom Supports, your duties may include:

• Community access and social participation
• Supporting participants with daily living skills
• In-home support
• Personal care, depending on participant needs
• Domestic assistance and meal preparation
• Transport to appointments, activities and community outings
• Supporting participants to work towards their NDIS goals
• Completing accurate shift notes and documentation
• Building positive, professional relationships with participants and their families

Casual & On-Call Opportunities

We are also particularly interested in hearing from support workers who would be happy to be part of our on-call/casual relief team.

This may suit workers who already have other commitments but would like the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when they become available, including short-notice shifts, staff leave coverage and new participant supports.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for workers who are reliable, compassionate, patient and professional. As a casual team member, flexibility and good communication are particularly important.

Applicants should have or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Yellow Card
• Working with Children Check / Blue Card where required
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable vehicle
• Comprehensive car insurance
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Relevant disability/community services qualification is preferred but not essential
• Previous disability support experience is highly regarded
