We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate people to join our team and help make every event a memorable experience for our guests.

Whether you love creating a welcoming atmosphere behind the bar, delivering fantastic food and beverage service, or getting hands-on behind the scenes to bring our venues to life, there is an opportunity for you at BRC!

We’re recruiting casual team members across the following three roles.

Bar Attendant and Food & Beverage (F&B) Attendant

Help deliver exceptional hospitality across our restaurants, function spaces, corporate facilities and event areas. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in great service, attention to detail and creating memorable experiences for guests attending some of Brisbane’s most exciting events.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive and professional service.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and accurately.
• Assist with table preparation, service set-up and clearing throughout events.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with responsible service requirements.
• Take orders and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver friendly, professional and engaging customer service, even during peak service periods.
• Maintain clean, organised and well-stocked bar areas.
• Follow responsible service of alcohol, food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to keep service running smoothly.

Set Up Staff

Our Set Up team is the driving force behind the scenes, transforming our venues and racecourses into outstanding event spaces ready to welcome thousands of guests. From preparing function rooms and hospitality areas to moving furniture, setting up equipment and packing down after events, you will play an important role in ensuring every space is ready for action.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and pack-down of event spaces, including furniture, tables, chairs, staging and other event equipment.
• Prepare hospitality areas, function rooms and venue spaces in line with floor plans and event requirements.
• Move, handle and store furniture, equipment and event assets safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organised and presentable event spaces before, during and after events.
• Assist with post-event pack-down, equipment returns and storage to ensure venues are ready for future events.
