About the role

We are seeking a Casual Part Time workers to join our team at our Albany, Auckland facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work within the Print finishing sector. This casual position will support our Finishing and bindery area. The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, making it ideal for those seeking part-time employment with the potential for ongoing opportunities as operational needs dictate.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the assembly of printed products according to specifications and quality standards
• Supporting process work activities including preparation for binding operations
• Operating machinery and equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any defects or issues to supervisory staff
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including housekeeping and waste management
• Handling and storing materials correctly to prevent damage and ensure safety
• Following all workplace instructions and standard operating procedures
• Assisting with packing and dispatch of finished products as required

What we're looking for

• Experience in Print finishing, bindery an advantage is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work safely and follow health and safety guidelines at all times
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail for quality control purposes
• Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual work arrangements
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Full training given to the Right person
