ECHUCA MOAMA PLANT FARM

WE’RE HIRING! Casual Retail Nursery Assistant
Love plants? Love people? Love a busy day where there’s always something happening?
We’re looking for a fun, energetic and sales-focused Casual Retail Nursery Assistant to join our team!
This isn’t a sit-back-and-watch-the-plants-grow kind of job. You’ll be talking to customers, making sales, moving plants, keeping displays looking amazing and helping customers leave with exactly what they came in for — plus maybe a few extras!
What you’ll be doing
Sell, sell, sell! — Help customers choose plants, pots, products and everything they need to get their garden looking great.
Talk to people — Build rapport, ask questions and provide great advice that turns browsers into happy customers.
Keep moving — Watering, merchandising, restocking, tidying and keeping the nursery looking fresh and inviting.
Drive sales — Spot opportunities, recommend complementary products and help the team hit sales goals.
Know your stuff — Learn about our plants and products so you can confidently answer questions and make great recommendations.
Keep up the pace — Weekends and busy periods can be fast, lively and full-on, so you’ll need to enjoy being busy!
We’re looking for someone who is

Naturally friendly, outgoing and confident

Comfortable approaching customers and starting conversations

Sales-minded and motivated by achieving results

Energetic, reliable and happy to get stuck in

Great at multitasking when things get busy

Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet and outdoors

A team player who brings good energy to the workplace

Passionate about plants, gardening or learning something new

Available for casual shifts, including weekends

Retail or sales experience is a bonus, but personality, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important.
Why join us?
Because working with plants should be fun!
You’ll be part of a lively team, surrounded by greenery, meeting loads of customers and learning something new every day. If you like fast-paced retail, hitting goals, helping people and getting your hands dirty, you’ll fit right in.
Think you’ve got the energy? We want to hear from you!
Send us your resume and tell us why you’d be a great addition to the team.
