Casual Stores Assistant

We’re looking for a hands‑on, reliable Casual Stores Assistant to support our Supply Chain and Logistic Co-ordinator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, practical work, has great attention to detail, and thrives in a tidy, well‑run environment.

About the Role

You’ll work closely with our Supply Chain and Logistic Coordinator to keep materials, components, and finished goods moving smoothly through the DC. This is a practical, active role with plenty of variety.

Your day may include:

• Picking & packing orders accurately
• Dispatching freight and preparing goods for courier/truck collection
• Inwards goods receiving, checking, and storing stock
• Driving the company truck (manual licence required)
• Using basic tools such as drills for simple assembly or fixture tasks
• Stock counting and maintaining tidy, safe work areas
• General stores support across the Distribution Centre

Hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm      Status: Casual (regular hours available during busy periods)

What We’re Looking For

• Manual driver’s licence (must be confident driving a manual truck)
• Forklift licence preferred, but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Strong attention to detail and tidy work habits
• Hands‑on, practical, and able to follow instructions
• Good communicator who works well with others
• Someone who shows initiative and takes accountability
• Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
