He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

Our Youth Service supports rangatahi on their mental health, disability, and wellbeing journeys. Working alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and work towards greater independence.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting rangatahi to achieve their goals, strengthen their resilience, and reach their full potential.

Our Youth Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with shifts across:

• 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 3:00pm - 11:30pm
• 11:00pm - 7:30am (wake-over)

This is a casual position, so flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends, evenings, and wake-over shifts, is essential to meet service needs.

He kōrero mōu | About You

To be successful in these roles, you'll bring:

• A Level 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate (or higher)
• Experience within the mental health and/or addiction sector
• Experience working with youth
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A full New Zealand driver's licence and valid working rights
• A current First Aid Certificate (including CPR), or willingness to obtain one
