Be Recruitment is seeking passionate and skilled Disability Support Worker****s & Therapeutic Youth Workers to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care to adults and young people with complex needs.

This role is within residential care settings and requires candidates to hold all relevant qualifications below to be considered – this is non-negotiable.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in supporting clients who have experienced significant trauma, disabilities, or mental health conditions.

 Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Behavioural management (physical and verbal aggression, property damage, absconding and sexualised behaviours)
• Work in a recovery-focused way
• Coordinate and implement social outings
• Day to day living support
• Personal Care
• Trauma informed care
• Manual Handling
• Complete detailed shift notes and incident reports.

Key Requirements

• Disability Support Workers: Minimum Certificate 3 minimum in a related field – mandatory
• Youth Workers: Minimum Diploma in a related field – mandatory
• Minimum six months of paid experience
• NDIS workers check
• Full NSW Driver’s Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
• COVID-19 vaccination x3 or valid medical exemption
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers - (must be willing to complete sleepovers to be considered)
