About us:
Epsom-based St Cuthbert's College is one of New Zealand's most distinctive schools for girls, a place where academic excellence, a purpose-built all-girls environment, and an extraordinary second campus come together to prepare every student for the life she chooses to create. Combined with outstanding academic outcomes, a breadth of co-curricular life, and a values-led community that walks alongside each girl from age five to eighteen, these elements create an education that shapes not just what a girl achieves, but who she becomes.
About the role:
St Cuthbert's College is seeking a caring, flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Junior School on a casual basis.

As a casual Teaching Assistant, you may work across different year groups and classrooms, depending on the needs of the Junior School. You may support individual students or small groups, assist with English and Mathematics learning, help prepare classroom resources, and provide support with classroom and playground activities.

- Warm, caring and approachable, and have a genuine interest in working with children
- Reliable, flexible and comfortable adapting to different classrooms and year groups
- A confident communicator who works well as part of a team
- Patient and supportive, and have the ability to encourage students in their learning
- Organised and willing to assist wherever support is needed
- Committed to student safety, wellbeing and the values of By Love Serve
Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or education setting, is desirable. A relevant qualification or experience in supporting children's learning would also be advantageous.
