Casualty Underwriter

Seeking an experienced Excess Casualty Underwriter to evaluate complex risks, manage broker relationships, and drive profitable growth. This role handles underwriting analysis, pricing, negotiations, and account strategy for excess casualty business.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite excess casualty risks
• Analyze exposures and loss history
• Prepare quotes and negotiate terms
• Maintain strong broker relationships
• Collaborate with internal teams on complex accounts

Qualifications:

• 3+ years excess casualty underwriting experience
• Strong knowledge of GL, Auto, WC, umbrella/excess
• Production‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Preferred: CPCU, AU, ARM
