  • Perform repairs on electronic assemblies, components, and printed circuit boards, including soldering and surface-mount component work.

  • Test repaired units to verify full functionality and compliance with product specifications and quality standards.

  • Troubleshoot commercial pool water chemistry and controller application issues involving pH, ORP, sanitization, and other water balance parameters.

  • Document technical findings, repairs, test results, customer interactions, and recommended resolutions in applicable service records.

  • Conduct product and technical training for customers, partners, and internal employees in person and online.

  • Manage and maintain the Commercial Training Hub in Atlanta, ensuring the facility, equipment, and materials are ready for demonstrations, classes, and hands-on training.

  • Develop and update training materials, presentations, service resources, and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Sales, Service, and Customer Service teams to resolve complex issues and share product feedback.

  • Participate in customer site visits, conferences, trade shows, and off-site training as required.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including compliance with electrostatic discharge protocols and applicable safety requirements.

  • Stay current on product developments, industry trends, and advancements in pool chemistry control technology, and recommend improvements that enhance repair quality, service efficiency, training effectiveness, and the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Technical training in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Experience diagnosing, repairing, and testing electronic equipment, preferably industrial controllers or similar control systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, datasheets, service manuals, and technical documentation.

  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport and explain technical information to audiences with varying levels of expertise.

  • Ability to work independently, collaborate across functions, and manage multiple service, training, and support priorities.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage training schedules, service records, equipment, and resources.
