Role DescriptionCAT/IPMAT QA Faculty / Tutor

We are looking for a passionate and capable CAT/IPMAT Quantitative Aptitude (QA) Faculty / Tutor who can take ownership of the QA vertical and contribute to building the academic foundation of IIMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and concept-driven CAT and IPMAT Quantitative Aptitude classes
• Teach topics including Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Number System, Modern Mathematics, Mensuration and other relevant areas
• Develop structured lesson plans and effective teaching strategies for both CAT and IPMAT aspirants
• Adapt teaching methodology according to the varying difficulty levels and requirements of CAT and IPMAT
• Create and curate CAT/IPMAT-level questions, practice sets, sectional tests and mock examinations
• Prepare and continuously improve study materials, worksheets, question banks and practice resources
• Analyse student performance and provide personalised academic guidance
• Teach effective problem-solving approaches, shortcuts, time-management techniques and examination strategies
• Keep academic content aligned with evolving CAT and IPMAT trends and patterns
• Mentor students throughout their preparation and help them develop effective preparation strategies
• Contribute ideas towards improving IIMC's academic systems, content quality and overall student experience

QualificationsEducational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Science, Education or a related discipline
• A Master's degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
• Candidates from other academic backgrounds with strong CAT/IPMAT QA expertise and relevant teaching experience may also be considered

Professional & Other Qualifications

• Strong command over CAT and IPMAT Quantitative Aptitude
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities
• Strong teaching, presentation and mentoring skills
• Prior experience in CAT/IPMAT coaching or teaching is preferred
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and structured manner
• Ability to develop high-quality academic content
• Experience in creating mock tests, sectional tests, question banks and study materials is an advantage
• Strong understanding of CAT and IPMAT question patterns and examination strategies
• Ability to analyse student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Experience in coaching institute management, academic coordination or administration will be an added advantage
• Candidates based in Kottayam and nearby areas are preferred
