Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Catalytic Reman Associate, where you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and remanufacturing of catalytic converters. This energetic position involves inspecting and processing components with precision and adherence to safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced factory environment, utilizing mechanical skills and technical proficiency to ensure high-quality remanufacturing processes and data collection. Your contribution will help optimize production efficiency and data collection while maintaining a safe and compliant workspace.

Responsibilities

• Inspect individual part numbers and correlate associated vehicle information.
• Interpret manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and process instructions to ensure accurate assembly and remanufacturing procedures.
• Use measuring instruments to verify component dimensions and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including handling hand tools and managing heavy lifting requirements with proper manual handling techniques.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously, adhering to safety standards in production environments and supporting safety protocol adherence among team members.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing practices.
• Manage production documentation accurately, recording inspection results, process steps, and quality checks for traceability.

Experience

• Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred, especially within automotive or remanufacturing sectors.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity standards (Must be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably).
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
