Category Activation Manager

• Develop and execute annual and quarterly category activation plans.
• Identify growth opportunities by channel, region, customer and outlet segment.
• Translate business objectives into actionable activation programmes.
• Drive category sales volume, value growth, distribution and outlet penetration.
• Design and execute trade and channel activation initiatives nationwide.
• Monitor category KPIs, sales performance and market trends.
• Analyse sales, customer and channel data to recommend growth actions.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
• Evaluate activation effectiveness and optimise trade investment ROI.
• Lead and develop the Category/Sales Activation team to strengthen execution capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Trade Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in FMCG Sales, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Commercial Excellence or Business Planning.
• Strong understanding of FMCG sales processes, distribution operations and channel dynamics.
• Experience in developing category growth strategies and activation plans.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales, market and customer data.
• Good business acumen with understanding of sales, profitability and ROI management.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across regions.
• Willing to travel nationwide for market visits, customer engagements and activation reviews.
