Category Assistant & Sales Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our Naenae Head Office team as a Category Assistant & Sales Analyst.

The Role

The Category Assistant & Sales Analyst plays a key support role within the Sales, Merchandising, and Category teams, combining analytical capability with operational excellence.

Working closely with the Sales, Category, Finance, IT, and Operations teams, this position delivers accurate reporting, supports demand planning and forecasting processes, maintains pricing integrity, and identifies opportunities to improve business performance.

You will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy being hands-on across a variety of responsibilities. Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to contribute are essential to success in this role. You will have strong Excel skills and be familiar with working with analytical tools. Success comes from strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to turn data into meaningful insights while ensuring critical administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

Success in this role will be demonstrated by:

·         Completing all pricing and promotional administration tasks accurately and on time.

·         Maintaining a high level of pricing integrity and reducing customer pricing-related credit requests.

·         Delivering timely, accurate, and actionable insights to managers and sales leaders.

·         Supporting effective forecasting and demand planning through accurate sales analysis and inputs.

·         Contributing positively to a collaborative, relaxed, and results-focused team culture.
