Category buyer

Responsible for developing category strategy, selecting brands and products, negotiating with suppliers, managing commercial terms and driving category sales and profitability. Experience in Category Strategy and Development Buying and Assortment Management Supplier and Brand Management Pricing and Promotional Strategy Work closely with the Demand Planner to ensure commercial plans and inventory requirements remain aligned.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline. 5+ years of buying, category management or commercial experience. Strong experience within E-commerce, marketplace, retail, beauty, health & wellness, pharmacy, FMCG or consumer goods. Proven experience managing suppliers and negotiating commercial terms. Strong understanding of category management, pricing, margin and promotional planning. Experience managing large SKU assortments. Strong analytical and numerical capability. Advanced Excel skills. Experience using ERP, BI, merchandising and/or E-commerce systems. Knowledge of the Saudi retail and e-commerce market is highly desirable. Existing supplier and brand relationships within relevant categories would be advantageous.
