Procurement Assistant / Category Support Buyer

Location: Warrington (3 days per week in the office)

We're seeking a Procurement Assistant / Category Support Buyer to join a leading procurement and supply chain organisation supporting the healthcare, housing, and education sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with public sector procurement experience and a strong understanding of the Public Procurement Act 2023 and wider procurement regulations to play a key role in delivering compliant, value-focused procurement solutions.

Working alongside experienced Category Managers, you'll support procurement exercises, framework agreements, tenders, supplier engagement, and category strategies across a diverse portfolio of spend areas. You'll be involved in helping clients navigate complex procurement requirements while ensuring compliance, value for money, and positive social outcomes.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for public sector procurement.
