Category Head- Advertisement Sales

Role & responsibilities:

The Category Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the product category lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

They will work closely with sales, marketing, and editorial teams to drive growth and profitability in their category. Daily tasks include market analysis, developing category strategies, building strong client relationships, and monitoring performance against set goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Generation

• Drive revenue through space selling within the assigned category.
• Consistently achieve sales targets as outlined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

2. Stakeholder Engagement

• Build, strengthen, and nurture relationships with clients, campaign managers, consultants, and other key stakeholders in the assigned category.

3. Market Insight

• Stay abreast of industry trends, category-specific news, and developments.
• Leverage insights to tailor sales strategies and ensure relevance in client engagements.

4. Strategic Planning

• Design and execute strategic sales plans aimed at not only meeting but exceeding revenue goals.
• Ensure sustained growth through innovative and client-centric approaches.
