About the Role

Were looking for a Category Intern to support our General Merchandise team in managing assortment, analyzing business performance, and driving day-to-day category operations. This role offers hands-on exposure to retail buying, merchandising, pricing, vendor coordination, and business analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze category sales, pricing, and inventory data to identify trends and insights.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and MIS using Excel.
• Support category managers with assortment planning and product listings.
• Coordinate with internal teams for product launches and execution.
• Conduct market and competitor research.
• Maintain accurate category data and documentation.
• Assist in day-to-day business operations and special projects.

Who Were Looking For

• Final-year students or recent graduates from Business, Management, Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and large datasets.
• Previous internship or project experience involving analytics, MIS, business operations, or merchandising is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English or Hindi. Knowledge of Telugu is an added advantage.
• Available to work from our Bangalore office for 3-6 months.
