Category Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Category Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead Pod leadership for verticals, integrating merchant feedback and market research into a GTM Playbook
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the company’s product fit across Product & Shipping Protection
• Drive growth and define product strategy for assigned verticals
• Define and execute the GTM strategy to align with market needs and outperform competitors
• Identify growth and expansion opportunities within the portfolio and new verticals
• Advise on strategic accounts, key deals, and merchant growth
• Influence the product roadmap based on competitive research and Pod insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years in retail category management or product strategy in e-commerce or tech environments
• Demonstrated ownership of product initiatives from inception to launch
• Strong research and presentation skills for actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in AI tools and Excel for data modeling and forecasting
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting to leadership teams
• Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and innovation
• Strong prioritization skills to manage shifting project priorities
