Category Manager

工作职责:

Develop and execute category sourcing strategies and cost reduction initiatives across assigned spend categories to lower total delivered cost, mitigate market headwinds, and strengthen supply security.

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing activities, including spend analysis, market intelligence, supplier identification, assessments, qualification, and development., should-cost modeling,

Negotiate and establish favorable commercial agreements that support Ecolab’s business objectives, growth priorities, and operational requirements.

Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics within assigned categories, including supplier capabilities, competitive landscape, upstream feedstocks, downstream demand, and emerging risks and opportunities.

Build and develop strong relationships at multiple organizational levels within supplier accounts to enhance performance, quality, productivity, innovation, and service throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

Lead strategic projects aimed at improving procurement processes, tools, systems, and operational efficiency while promoting best practices across the organization.

Manage procurement workstreams supporting business growth initiatives, new product introductions, capacity expansions, and acquisitions to achieve corporate objectives.

Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, R&D, and other cross-functional teams to establish and maintain procurement infrastructure that ensures supply continuity at the required quality, service, and cost levels.

Effectively communicate sourcing strategies, project outcomes, market insights, and key performance metrics to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

任职条件:

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Scientific background including but not limited to Procurement, Engineering, Chemistry and Supply Chain Management.

Five or more years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, including sourcing from low-cost regions for global markets.

Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) in Engineering, Chemistry, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and manage complex projects.

Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business results and value creation.

Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Professional presence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively engage with senior leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.

Experience in category management, supplier negotiations, should-cost analysis, market intelligence, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
