Category Manager

Role Purpose

To drive the performance of the Skincare category by managing the product assortment, pricing, promotions, supplier relationships, and go-to-market strategies. The Category Manager plays a key role in maximizing sales, margin, and market share within the health & beauty retail segment, ensuring category strategies align with business objectives and consumer trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategy, including assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities, to drive sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and visibility of the product.
• Manage the product assortment, ensuring it align with market trends, customer preferences, and business goals.
• Forecast demand, monitor inventory levels, and implement inventory replenishment strategies to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.
• Analyze and monitor sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand the market landscape, identify emerging trends, and capitalize on competitive opportunities.
• Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and operational plans that drive category performance.
• Maintain revenue (gross margin and commercial margin) weekly to monthly by category.
