About the Role

We are looking for a Category Manager to drive category growth, revenue and profitability. The role will involve end-to-end category ownership across e-commerce, P&L, assortment, pricing, promotions and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own category strategy and drive revenue, growth, profitability and market share.
• Manage category P&L and track key commercial metrics.
• Analyse category, consumer and competitor trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage assortment, pricing, promotions and product lifecycle.
• Analyse marketplace and D2C channel performance.
• Identify portfolio gaps and recommend new products, variants and innovations.
• Drive product launches and category initiatives from planning to execution.
• Monitor sales, margins, inventory and profitability.
• Work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, E-commerce and Supply Chain teams.
• Prepare category performance reports and present insights to leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Category Management, E-commerce, FMCG, D2C, Retail or Consumer Brands.
• Strong understanding of P&L, revenue, profitability and category growth.
• Experience managing a category/business with revenue ownership.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools are a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred.
• Women candidates preferred.
• Mumbai-based candidates preferred.
