Are you a food-loving Category Manager who thrives on turning insight into action?

We're partnering with a leading food manufacturer to recruit a Category Manager supporting one of the UK's most high-profile retail customers, M&S .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded category professional who enjoys combining data, consumer trends and market insight to influence decisions, shape category growth and support the launch of exciting new products.

Working closely with sales, marketing, NPD and retail partners, you'll play a key role in identifying opportunities, recommending actions and helping deliver category-led growth strategies.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Category Management experience within FMCG or Food Manufacturing
• Experience working with major UK retailers
• Strong analytical and insight-generation skills
• The ability to turn data into clear commercial recommendations
• A collaborative style and confidence presenting to customers
• A genuine passion for food, innovation and consumer trends
• Experience supporting or influencing NPD activity would be advantageous

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering category insights and recommendations to support growth
• Analysing shopper, consumer and market data
• Identifying category opportunities and white space
• Supporting customer category reviews and presentations
• Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and NPD teams
• Helping shape future product launches and category strategies
• Building strong relationships with key retail stakeholders

The Opportunity

• Hybrid working with 3-4 days per week on site
• Yorkshire-based role - Commutable from South Yorkshire, West Yorks, North Yorks
• £55,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance (DOE)
