Nanjing USA is looking to hire a Category Replenishment and Allocation Analyst

The Role

As a Category Replenishment and Allocation Analyst, you own the execution side of your category — making sure the right units land in the right place, on time, every week. You're the daily point of contact with Walmart's replenishment team, and the person who keeps a category's inventory healthy across every channel it touches.

Responsibilities

●      Review and approve Walmart's daily purchase orders, and keep NOVA and NetSuite in sync

●      Manage core replenishment and allocation timing against MABD and DC inventory arrival

●      Step in with manual orders when the system under- or over-orders, working hand in hand with your Category Planner

●      Manage SKU lifecycle transitions to optimize inventory flow and maximize profitability

●      Draw actionable insights from data to identify opportunities that maximize sales and avoid inventory liability

●      Run fashion programs end to end: AEX and booking POs, pack configs, size ratios, MABD tracking, from Walmart's commitment through DC arrival

●      Investigate the root cause behind an out-of-stock and drive the recovery plan that gets product back on shelf

●      Manage inventory flow across the whole network — store, FDC, DC, and eCommerce — balancing availability, cost, and speed

●      Track inbound shipments for at-risk and hot containers, and own the call on how constrained inventory gets allocated

●      Own your category's monthly OTIF scorecard — running root cause analysis, resolving Finance disputes, and partnering with Logistics and Distribution to keep performance on track

●      Own the Walmart Replenishment Manager relationship for your category — the go-to partner they trust

Requirements:

●      A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, analytics, statistics, or a related field — or 2+ years of relevant experience in its place

●      1–3 years in order management, replenishment, or allocation

●      Working knowledge of NOVA, Retail Link, NetSuite, and advanced Excel — comfortable drawing actionable insights from large, multi-source datasets

●      Energized by a fast-paced, high-volume environment that rewards precision and attention to detail

●      Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, with experience supporting Walmart category teams directly (or similar retail-account experience)

●      A working knowledge of Walmart's OTIF, MABD/routing, and SQEP compliance standards

●      A root-cause mindset — you want to know why a metric moved, not just that it did

Great to have:

●      Experience with Walmart item creation and maintenance

●      Experience in fashion, seasonal, or short-life-cycle merchandise

●      Experience across multiple Walmart channels and replenishment types — DSDC, FDC casepack, eCommerce

●      Leverage AI and modern tools like Claude, Power Query, Power BI, Python, or SQL to automate reporting, drive process improvement, and sharpen data visualization

●      APICS CPIM or CSCP certification

Other offers great for you!
