You are comfortable working with e-commerce metrics such as product views, conversion rate (CVR), add-to-cart rate (ATC), bookings, and margin. You do not need to be an advanced data analyst, but you understand what these numbers mean, why they matter, and how to use them to make better decisions.
Desired Experience (Skills):
- 2+ years working in e-commerce, category management, merchandising, product management, or digital marketing
- 2+ years working in tourism, hospitality, or local travel services
- Experience analyzing and improving the performance of online products

- Understanding of e-commerce metrics, including CVR, ATC, traffic, bookings, and margin
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-management abilities
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Development & Optimization of Experiences:
- Audit existing categories and identify missing products, overlaps, and underperformers
- Grow the portfolio strategically by selecting products based on customer demand, market gaps, and commercial potential
- Build relationships with local suppliers and negotiate competitive pricing and terms
- Improve product performance by reviewing content, imagery, positioning, reviews, availability, pricing, and customer experience
- Identify exclusive, differentiated, or high-converting experiences that support business goals
- Benchmark products and pricing against direct competitors and OTAs
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Manage product listings in our CMS, ensuring pricing, logic, availability, content, and visuals are accurate
- Own the backend setup and QA of experiences for launch readiness
- Ensure every newly published product reaches a minimum of 100 product-page views per month
- Work with merchandising and marketing to increase product visibility across category pages, search results, campaigns, content, cross-selling placements, and other relevant channels
- Monitor views, CVR, ATC, bookings, reviews, cancellations, and margin to identify performance issues
- Proactively test improvements and escalate products that continue to underperform
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Use booking data, customer behavior, reviews, competitor research, and market trends to guide category decisions
- Determine which products are ready for additional marketing or paid advertising support
- Build category growth plans that define what products should be added, improved, promoted, or removed
- Collaborate across CX, marketing, merchandising, and operations to ensure smooth launches and strong product performance
- Track regional tourism trends and translate them into specific product opportunities
