Category Support Coordinator

We are looking for a Permanent, Full-Time Category Support Coordinator to join our Departures store based at Auckland International Airport.

What you’ll do:

As a Category Support Co-Ordinator, you'll be the go-to expert within your department, ensuring products are beautifully presented, stocked, and ready for our international travellers. You'll combine outstanding customer service with strong commercial awareness to help drive sales, support team members, and create memorable customer experiences.
​ Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and sales experiences
• Acting as a product expert within your category
• Supporting promotional launches and merchandising activities
• Monitoring stock levels, displays, and pricing accuracy
• Assisting with coaching and supporting team members
• Helping achieve sales targets and business objectives
• Ensuring compliance with duty-free and store procedures

We are looking for someone with:

• Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, data entry, and basic reporting
• The ability to multi-task
• A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience is advantageous
• A team player who enjoys delivering results

As we are a 24/7 business, the ability to work a rotating roster and public holidays is essential for this role.
