We are looking for a permanent, full-time Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team at Tauranga Airport Café, working the afternoon shift from Wednesday to Sunday.

You will be passionate about service, reliable, and ready to play a valued role in our team.

What we are looking for

To hit the ground running, we are looking for a passionate all-rounder who is equally comfortable in the kitchen and front of house.

The role will involve:

• Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads, savouries, and sandwiches.
• Service of meals / drinks to customers.
• Cleaning cooking equipment, utensils and general kitchen areas.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Secondary education.
• A Food Handler Certificate.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Flexibility, a positive attitude and a friendly approach.
