What they need
This post is for a Catering Assistant within a Care home setting. To prepare hot and cold food for service, clearing and cleaning kitchen and storage areas in line with food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
To assist with the preparation of meals as laid out in menus and diet sheets. To carry out record keeping where necessary. Washing up duties as required. Ensuring that the hygiene standards with the kitchen meet Local Environmental Health Department requirements. Catering experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Work Location: In person
