Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and setup of catering events, including arranging tables, linens, and serving stations to meet event specifications.
Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service.
Support food handling procedures to maintain safety standards and proper hygiene at all times.
Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting areas for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and payment handling accurately.
Assist with beverage service, including wine pouring, drink mixing, and bartending tasks if qualified.
Help with food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, or assembling menu items under supervision.

Skills

Experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred; previous banquet or fine dining experience is a plus.
Strong guest services skills with the ability to build positive guest relations through attentive and friendly interactions.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure health regulations are met.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and billing purposes.
Familiarity with beverage service including wine knowledge, bartending skills, or coffee experience enhances your versatility.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact professionally with guests.
A proactive attitude towards hospitality duties such as serving, bussing, food preparation, and supporting overall event success.
