Catering Assistant

We are Hiring: Relief Catering Assistants We are Hiring: Catering Assistants (Relief) As a Catering Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our residents by supporting the chef prepare nutritious meals, helping to deliver high-quality, resident-centred dining experiences, in line with food safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided
• A friendly, approachable manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate and engage positively with residents, colleagues and visitors
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• HACCP or other food safety training is advantageous, however not essential as this training will be provided.
• Eligible to work in Ireland

Key Responsibilities Setting up the kitchen and satellite kitchens for daily service

Working from the kitchen/ satellite kitchen serving breakfast, lunch, dinners and teas

Day to day cleaning of the kitchen/ satellite kitchens

Taking meal selection (orders) from residents

Follow all dietary requirements and HACCP procedures
