Catering Assistant - Part Time

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll support the smooth operation of catering services by assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up catering areas, including arranging tables, chairs, and service counter
• Support and/or carry out food preparation activities in accordance with health and safety standards
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests during events or daily service periods
• Maintain cleanliness of all catering areas, including washing dishes, clearing tables, and disposing of waste responsibly
• Restock supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments and catering supplies to ensure smooth service
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards at all times
• Support team members in delivering excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest needs and inquiries
• Assisting with bookings & payments for horse-riding guests

Skills

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training provided if needed)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends as required
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to tasks and guest interactions
• Attention to detail to ensure presentation standards are maintained throughout service
• Previous experience in catering or hospitality is a plus but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
