Catering Assistant – Waste Management

Part time: 22.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 10.30am to 3.00pm). Closed Public holidays.

Serving up to 400 production and office staff each day, The Hub Café is a vibrant and bustling workplace where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering fresh, delicious food and outstanding customer experiences that keep people coming back for more.

What's involved:

As a Catering Assistant, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the café. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and efficient service to customers
• Serving fresh, appetising café-style food with pride
• Operating EFTPOS and POS systems confidently
• Assisting with food preparation, kitchen support, and cleaning duties
• Helping with onsite functions and catering events
• Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
• Supporting your team and thriving in a busy environment

What we're looking for:

• A positive, energetic attitude and genuine passion for customer service
• Someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team mindset
• A reliable, hardworking approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Previous hospitality or food service experience is advantageous
• Barista experience is preferred but not essential
