Key Responsibilities

The Catering Attendant is responsible for providing friendly and efficient food service to members and guests. This role includes operating point-of-sale tills, processing customer orders and ensuring the catering area is clean, organised, and well presented.

Customer Service

• Deliver friendly, efficient service to all members and guests
• Process orders through POS systems accurately
• Assist with customer enquiries and provide product recommendations

Teamwork & Operational Support

• Work collaboratively with café, kitchen, and bar teams
• Restock displays, fridges, condiments, and service supplies
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and WHS procedures
• Assist in clearing of floor each shift

The ideal candidate will have:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and event days
• Previous hospitality experience (desirable but not essential — training provided)
