Catering Coordinator

• Background in food service

• Data entry experience
• Works well in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adaptability
• Strong ability to multi task
• Ability to compose emails, proper grammatical skills & phone etiquette
• Valid driver’s license
• Competency of volumes & weights of measure
• Technologically savvy
• Flexible and must work on weekends & holidays
• Organizational skills & detail oriented
• Administrative experience an asset
• Up to date with WHMIS, Work Place Health & Safety & Public Health food handling certificates
• Knowledge of Maitre ‘d POS systems
• Excellent math, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experience in social media marketing a plus.

Duties include:

• Taking customer orders
• Order entry
• Order execution - putting together orders from various departments & delivering to customers
• Shopify order entry + monitoring
• Responding to emails
• Fielding catering requests
• Answering the phone + directing calls to appropriate departments/individuals
• Catering deliveries
• Assisting with catering set-up, service and clean-up

Wage based on experience & skill

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Experience:

• Customer service in hospitality: 4 years (required)
• Catering management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
• Food Handler Certification & WHMIS (required)
