Catering Server - Part Time/Full Time

IHC is a Phoenix-area corporate catering and events company. We feed some of the valley's busiest offices, and we do it with a team that looks out for each other. What you'll do

Build and stage carts with everything each delivery needs

Load, drive, and unload the truck for the day's orders

Set up polished food stations at client offices and off-site locations

Stay on-site for serviced events when needed: set up lunch equipment and utensils, serve, replenish, and break down

Work alongside the other servers on-site, checking in on what they need

Plan your time and routes so deliveries run smoothly and arrive on time

Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck, and flag any issues to your supervisor

Fill out compliance logs for health standards, and complete checklists to and from the kitchen so we don't miss any items

Keep the truck, loading area, and storage spaces clean and organized

What you bring

A warm, positive attitude and strong communication skills with clients and teammates

1+ year of food service experience and 2+ years of customer service experience

The ability to multitask and stay organized when things get busy

Flexibility with schedules and routes, and comfort with last-minute requests and daily changes

A clean driving record and the ability to qualify for our insurance plan

Basic vehicle know-how, like changing a tire. Commercial driving experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Familiarity with downtown Phoenix and the surrounding areas

Outgoing, high energy, and solution-oriented. You take instructions well, even on the spot during a rush.

To be 21 or older

A valid food handler card (or certification through our approved organization) and the ability to apply proper food handling

The ability to lift and move 50 lbs and stay on your feet for long shifts

Reliable transportation to get to scheduled shifts and locations on time and to get home after your shift

A cell phone

The ability to adapt quickly to new settings and new teammates

What we offer

$20/hour

A meal included with every shift

A Monday–Friday schedule built around breakfast and lunch services, usually wrapped up by about 3:00 pm
